Craftster.org – excellent, multi-discipline craft place. Full of tutorials, discussions, inspiration. Search and you’ll likely find!
Eunny Jang’s webpage – She no longer blogs here, but there are good tutorials and answers to questions readers have asked. Some free patterns, some for sale.
Harry Potter Crafts – General HP-related, multi-discipline crafts. Many tutorials and pictures.
Knitswap – a place where knitters can buy, trade, sell, or put up an ad for that one discontinued yarn in that one dyelot to finish that one labor-intensive project.
Feedback is posted at another yahoogroup.
Knitting Daily – If you sign up for their newsletter/spam (I get half and half newsletters and ads for books or magazines), you get access to their free pattern library, which includes knit and crochet patterns.
Knitty.com – A great source of free knitting patterns, tutorials, articles on technique, pattern adjustment, spinning, and product reviews.
Madame Malkins – A group for Harry Potter costume reproductions. Tutorials, recommendations, and pictures.
National Taiwanese Presbyterian Young Adult Council (PCUSA) – Need to get connected? Here’s a national resource for church info, educational resources, and more.
Ravelry – Still in it’s beta testing stage, but a great resource once you get through the waiting list!
I have high hopes that it will improve immensely once it’s ready. Open houses/sneak peeks will be coming up in ‘08 (and periodically afterwards) to check out the features.
SockP0rn – This is the site of a wonderfully creative knitter! There’s a tutorial for knitting in ends (weaving in is no fun). She designs very cool socks. Two are on knitty.com (BMP Space Invaders & Q). She also makes the coolest freshwater pearl stitch markers (see shops page)!
